Child Behavior Support

Up to 18-years old. Working one-on-one with neurotypical or neuro-divergent children and teens struggling with behavioral issues such as disrobing, property destruction, aggression, control, device addiction, and defiance.

Family Harmony Coaching

Working with family units struggling to maintain familial peace. We help parents and siblings navigate life with a special needs child.

Caregiver Support

Working with parents/caregivers needing support with their neuro-divergent child's behavioral issues. We help parents develop the skills necessary to set and maintain boundaries with their child, and to regain control of their households.

Teacher Empowerment

Classrooms don’t fall apart because teachers don’t care — they fall apart because teachers have been trained to ignore accountability. Colleges today tell teachers to avoid consequences, to redirect endlessly, and to believe that special needs kids can’t handle boundaries. The result? Classrooms run by the most aggressive student instead of the adult.

At Pendulum Center, we coach teachers to reset the energy in the room and reclaim their authority. That means:

  • Personal energy shifts — standing tall, shoulders back, body language that projects confidence and calm strength.
  • Implementing consequences that work — real accountability instead of empty “calm-down corners” or reward systems that backfire.
  • Stopping power struggles — learning how to stop an aggressive or controlling child from gaining the upper hand, and how to take it back if it’s already been lost.
  • Raising the bar for special needs students — because autistic and neurodivergent kids are smart enough to understand boundaries, and they thrive when adults lead.

You don’t have to walk on eggshells. You don’t have to surrender your classroom. You can take the power back.

Support & Questions

How does family coaching work?

Parent/Child coaching is when one or both parents (or caregiver(s) and their child meet with a professional family coach in an effort to facilitate goal achievement related to parenting a child with behavioral issues. In this non-judgmental setting, the coach can use  evidence-based strategies to navigate familial issues related to children. It is beneficial to parents who need assistance to increase family functioning and improve communication.

Pendulum Center parent/child coaching can help with:

  • Transition issues (marriage, death, adoption, etc.) or familial changes
  • General behavioral issues
  • Lack of following rules / Resistance to direction
  • Aggression
  • Property Destruction
  • Disrespectful communication (“talking back”)
  • Addiction (screens, video games, vaping)
  • Autism spectrum disorders (ASD)
  • Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) and conduct problems
  • Reactive attachment disorder (RAD)
  • Adolescent substance abuse
